At first sight, over-the-counter drugs do not offer the world’s most exciting sales opportunity. Worldwide sales are growing at only around 3% a year. It would be easy to suppose that a finite demand has been met. Not according to Frank Maione, vice-president, trade relations and global sales centre of excellence for over-the-counter products at Pfizer! This is his experience of selling to the world’s largest retailers. |
