Breaking The Mould.

Breaking The Mould.

The thought of being just like everyone else fills me with absolute horror. To me it is a nightmare scenario that is strongly reminiscent of ‘Invasion of The Body Snatchers’ or some other 1950s science fiction feature. Armies of clones should only appear in your darkest of dreams–

Why on earth would I want to be just the same as everyone around me? How unimaginative it would be if we all dressed, spoke, ate and slept in exactly the same way. Individuality is vital for our sanity. Don’t you ever worry that you are just like every other person around you? I have a terrible fear of being like everyone else. I am me; an individual. It is so important to be your own person. If you are not then you will just blend into obscurity.

Some people don’t seem to be as concerned about it as I am. They just go through their lives wearing the same sort of jacket as their friends or getting their hair cut in the latest popular style. What is wrong with these people? Aren’t they bored of being so boring??? Perhaps it is because they do not have the courage to stand out from the crowd, of being laughed at and called ‘Weirdo’ or ‘Freak’. I have a lot of respect for anyone who stands out from the crowd. It takes real guts to be yourself if ‘yourself’ is something that other people cannot understand.

Personally, if someone calls me a ‘Weirdo’ or a ‘Freak’ I feel a sense of pride. It means that I am a success at being different. They are confirming that I come across as an individual rather than a clone.

Other then that, I have news on the move! After hours of going through online house ads, looking through endless home information packs, and talking to SO many estate agents on the phone everyone has agreed on a house. Move in date is the first of next month, and I am going to need deposits by friday from all the tenents. And before you ask Ron, no you can’t borrow money
