Okay I am going to rant a little here but I don’t care.

I read this blog post entitled Stephanie Louise Stone over at Jimmy’s Weblog. Now I actually know “Frank”. The likelyhood of him reading either this or Jimmy’s post is minimal - he works on computers alot so trys his best not to socialise on them in his free time! Fair play I say. Anyway - how much does that suck?
I really mean this. Fank was really quietly keen about this girl Steph - yes I can confirm that he used to always call her Setphanie Louise Stone for some reason - some sort of sign that he liked her I guess. We called her his “hip hop girl” based on the fact that he took her on a date to a hip hop workshop. But that is exactly the reason that he liked her. She was into that kind of thing.

Anyway - I’m here to rank about religion getting in the way of love - in this case potential love. They both liked each other, they both enjoyed each others company and spending time together - then when it came to crunch time this Steph girl pulls out because she has been indoctrinated by the church that she can’t be with someone that isn’t christian. Why? Because the belief system is so hard core and illogical, that it doesn’t stand up against the test of open and honest discussion.

How depressing must your world be if it is one in which everyone that does not think the same as you, with the same belief structure and the same view of the world - if all those people are going to hell. Doesn’t it leave you feeling scared - and the only point of hope that you then naturally cling to is the religion. It’s not just this Stephanie woman, I’ve asked around and it turns out that there are loads of them around - many of whom are my “friends”. I don’t get it, if they were really my friends and they believed I was damned, why didn’t they at least try to save me.

Some friends they turned out to be. This is want really angers me though. I really like them all, but how can they really sit their claiming to be my friend when they have been sitting there knowing that I am going to hell and doing nothing about it. Would you not save your friends from walking into a burning house?

On a different subject, I’ve almost finished the stuff at the biodiesel storage tanks page. It’s not as slick as the inspired stuff I delivered for the main red diesel suppliers page, but I’ll put up with it until after my holiday. I just want to keep the boss on side, everything will be okay as they are!
